Leaders of Creative Thinking: Professional Learning Programme - 2025
This programme supports you to increase your knowledge and understanding about creativity and how to lead others in learning. It also explores and develops the creative leadership capabilities which will allow you to create the conditions for creative habits to be adopted and embedded throughout your organisation.

Who it’s for
The Leaders of Creative Thinking programme is for trust, school or senior leaders or anyone in a leadership position with oversight for integrating creative thinking in their education setting, based in the UK.
The programme is designed for leaders who have begun to establish creativity and creative thinking in their school or trust – and are now looking for further support to embed practices for broader and greater impact.
How it will benefit you
Through your participation in the Leading for Creative Thinking programme you will:
- Further develop your confidence of creative thinking and how to nurture the creative thinking of your staff and students
- Nourish your creative leadership enabling you to create a creative thinking learning organisation where everyone thrives.
- Cultivate your capability to lead impactful professional learning, enabling you to take a sustainable approach to embedding creativity for whole trust/school impact.
- Inspire you to explore the kinds of leadership required to nurture learning communities which ignite creativity.
- Give you an opportunity to be part of a learning and leadership community of practice where everyone has time and space to think-and be-creative.
- Impact staff and students’ creative thinking, performance and well-being
Duration
A year-long programme consisting of seven in-person full-days together and a flexible learning model consisting of online and peer-to-peer sessions in-between.
How it will be facilitated
The Leaders of Creative Thinking programme will:
- Utilise key research and evidence informed practice, focused on impact
- Be responsive to your unique context
- Model a creative leadership approach including different ways of seeing, thinking and doing
- Create a learning environment which fosters connections and creates space for risk, and cognitive, physical, social and emotional engagement
- Develop open, authentic and trusting relationships between facilitators and peers
- Establish feedback loops and a culture of reflective practice
The facilitation team will be led by Creativity, Culture and Education (CCE) and their associates and collaborators.
For almost two decades CCE have been transforming education in over 23 countries through creativity. Our research-informed professional learning programmes are designed to develop the knowledge confidence and skills needed to implement meaningful and widespread changes in your school.
